Welcome to My Personal Page

Hello and welcome to my PurpleStride page in honor of my wonderful father, Milton B. Schulle, who I miss very much. 

This is my third year participating in Purplestride. My journey began in 2023, after my father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Sadly, we lost him about seven months later, a fate that many families continue to face. Pancreatic cancer remains the most aggressive of the major cancers, with a mere 13% five-year survival rate. It is projected to become the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the US by 2030.

Despite these grim statistics, there has been significant progress, particularly in the areas of immunotherapy and targeted therapies. Continued research funding is crucial to improve outcomes and the quality of life for those diagnosed.

My friends and family have been incredibly generous over the past few years, and I am once again asking for your support in achieving my fundraising goal. Any donation, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated.

ABOUT PURPLESTRIDE and PanCAN: PurpleStride is the largest fundraising event in support of Pancreatic Cancer with walks in 60 cities across the U.S. It is the number one way PanCAN raises money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, and gives them free, personalized one on one support through PanCAN Patient Services. Additionally, PanCAN supports caregivers and when I reached out while supporting my Dad, they responded immediately with resources.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
