Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser!

I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I need you to do it!

I’m taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal and need your donations! A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

I have decided to walk in the Purple stride this year with a few close friends to honor Scott's memory and help raise funds in light of the difficult times ahead of us in the field of scientific and biomedical research. Scott was a scientist who loved learning and teaching and contributing to the betterment of all technological advancement . This was a passion of his from a very young age that his passed on to all three of our children. Scott was the backbone of our family bringing strength to our nuclear unit as well as having an impact on his brothers and their families and through all the many junior scientists that he mentored along the way. He touched so many people with his great smile, sense of humor and his practical jokes and endless knowledge of just about everything. 

If you feel inclined to donate to help others help people battle this horrible disease I would so appreciate but sending hugs and high fives will also help me get thru the day while I am doing my best to keep Scott's memory alive.
