Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

Hey, there!

As all of you know I am a pancreatic cancer SURVIVOR!!
When I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2016 the survival rate for was 6% for 1 to 6 years. That was a 94% mortality rate!!! Through your prayers, God’s healing and the advancement of pancreatic cancer research, I am alive today and doing GREAT!
Today through the advancement of pancreatic cancer research the survival rate is 12% for 1-6 years. That’s a 100% improvement in 8 years. I have joined an organization to support the continued research for a cure to pancreatic cancer and would love for you to join me in this effort.

PanCan has been instrumental in helping to improve the research for a cure by organizing a yearly Purple Stride Walk fund raiser. Other Pancreatic cancer survivors such as I, those who are fighting the terrible disease today and family and friends of those who have lost their loved ones to pancreatic cancer have organized teams to participate in the fund-raising walk.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
