Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

The fight against Pancreatic Cancer is both a personal and professional one.  I hate all cancers, but I have a especially deep-seated hatred for Pancreatic Cancer having lost my grandmother Christina Hoppin in 1998 and great friend Dr. Stephanie Shaps just two and a half years ago.  I walk with Team Ratio in this event in their honor.   

This disease robs us of so many so ruthlessly.

PanCAN is an outstanding organization working on all levels to fund awareness, advocacy, detection and therapy. 

It is not an easy fight and frankly it is not going very well.  Thank you to PanCAN for stepping up and fighting.  I am proud to support them in their mission and ask that you support Team Ratio as we walk on April 27th in South Boston.  Please do not hesitate to reach out if you want to walk with our team.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
