I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I need you to do it!

I’m taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 

I'm raising money in memory of MY BEST FRIEND, ANNETTE,who lost   her battle this last November 7, 2023

 The survival rate of one of the worst diagnosis one can get is slim to none. There still isn't early screening for pancreatic cance and for the most part, once you are finally diagnosed,  it's already spread to other organs. In Annetts case it was her liver and lungs.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the most painful cancers you can get.

About 7 months ago my daughter, Jessy, the angel that she is drove us on a 12 hour drive so I could see Annette, which would be our last time together. Annette and i laughed, shared memories,  cuddled and cried. As I held her she told me she was scared, she didn't want to die.

I told her about this PurpleStride event and I was going to do it in her Honor. We both knew in out hearts it would be in memory of her.

Please help me honor Annette and all those who are going through this now horrible cancer and in memory of those who lost the battle.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
