Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser!

I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I need you to do it!

My husband, EJ, passed away on October 5, 2023. It's hard to believe a year has already passed. EJ was such a big presence not just in my life and my two son's but so many others. He was so supportive of many friends and their kids. During this time of year you could always find him in the stands at many athletic events, especially football on Friday nights. He was also an active member of his church community as well as a mentor to co-workers at HP Enterprise.

Last year, I was part of EJ's Team in Portland, OR and we were able to raise over $17,000. I believe we were able to raise so much because of the impact EJ had on so many others. This year we have not only the team in Portland but also a team in Wilmington, DE where I currently reside. Please help me achieve my personal goal this year of $5,000 and a team goal of $20,000.

I'm taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025. PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
