Welcome to the overachiever fundraising page!

I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I need you to do it!

Pancreatic cancer is a terrible disease with a survival rate of only 12.5 percent. Two years ago, my grandfather was diagnosed with it and passed away the following fall. I am helping with this fundraiser so that nobody has to lose a loved one to this awful disease. 

I’m taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

In my first PanCAN event, I was walking with a patient, my grandpa. He completed the full two mile loop at the LA Zoo. He is the original Overachiever and my inspiration. In my second event, I was walking in memory of him and all people who battled pancreatic cancer. Now, in my third PanCan event, I will walk as a team captain.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
