Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser! 

I lost my husband suddenly to pancreatic cancer last year. We were not aware that the gastrointestinal issues he had been having were warning signs. By the time we realized what was happening, he was already in Stage IV. Sadly, this is very common and this type of cancer is extremely aggressive. There were only 3 months between his diagnosis and his passing. It is important that people become aware of the symptoms and get treatment early!

I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients, and I need you to do it!

I’m taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal and need your donations! A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
