First of all, thank you for checking out this page to find out more about my family’s mission. If you came here because you have been affected by (any) cancer - welcome. I hope our story speaks to some of you. If you choose to donate - and there is no pressure to do so - thank you.  One of our personal objectives is to simply raise awareness. I believe one day there will be effective treatments for late-stage cancer that will ultimately increase survival rates. Unfortunately, we are not there yet, so join us as we raise money in honor of my daddy, John Reale.

As most of you know, we lost dad in July 2023. You wouldn’t believe the grace he had during his fight. He seldom complained, pushed his body to limits (that  quite frankly, worried us at times), and never gave up. He was 69. My kids were robbed of getting to spend more time with him, and selfishly, I wanted and needed more time, too. He was a beacon of health and yet this disease was relentless. He tried all of the medications, procedures, and clinical trials available to him, and fought every day with unwavering dignity. He was, and remains, my hero. 

So - here is our main objective: we want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and we need you to do it!

My family and I are taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Here’s where you come in. My family and I have set an ambitious fundraising goal and need donations to reach that goal. A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
