Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

Last summer, our dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Since that day, our family has been on a roller coaster. Fortunately, we weren't alone - we were overwhelmed by our incredibly supportive friends and family.

After months of intense chemotherapy, in December 2023, Howie successfully underwent a major surgery to remove the tumor. He has truly been a warrior throughout the whole process.   

Our family is so grateful for the important work that the doctors have done in the field of pancreatic cancer. In addition to the doctors, the network of pancreatic cancer survivors, caretakers, and families out there have helped us navigate many of the obstacles we've faced along the way. With all of the advancements in understanding this terrible disease, there's still much more to be done.

With that said, on Saturday, April 27, 2024, the Stein family will be walking together at the PanCan PurpleStride event in New York City at Pier 17 udner the team name "You can do it, Howie!" It would mean the world to us if you would donate to support us in the fight to help all of those fighting their own battles with pancreatic cancer. Thank you to those who already have!

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
