Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser!  Team KAYBOB (for Kay Beglau and Bob Beglau). 

On Christmas Day 2023 my older brother lost his wife Kay at age 64 to pancreatic cancer.  January 2020 I lost my younger brother Bob at age 66 to pancreatic cancer.   Their spirits strongly live on.  I need to make a difference.  I need to help others.  I want to honor their memories and all those afflicted by Pancreatic Cancer.

I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I hope you do too!  

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal and need your donations! A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

My family is walking the PanCan Purple Stride Walk on Saturday, April 27.  If you would like to join me walking the PanCan PurpleStride Houston 2024 please register! Join Team KAYBOB.

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
