Welcome to our PanCAN PurpleStride Fundraising Page

Pancreatic Cancer is a devasting diagnosis. It's one of the top three deadliest cancers. It's aggressive and swift. One of the biggest challenges is early detection. Just before Christmas, my mom was diagnosed after her Pancreatic Cancer had spread to her liver. We haven't had time to slow the spread and are witnessing firsthand how devastating it can be for all affected.

My family is participating in the PanCAN Purple Strides walk at the end of this month to support her and to support the work PanCAN is doing to increase the odds of those who are faced with this diagnosis.

PanCAN offers support to patients and their families. They fund research and advocate for increased government support. Their goal is to increase the 5-year survival rate to 20% by 2030, and this won't happen without financial support. Anything you can contribute would be appreciated, and you will receive a handwritten note from either Zach or me (as long as I have your address or can track you down for it).

About PanCAN PurpleStride

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
