Most know that this cause is very personal to me. In March 2022 I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

From March 2nd to July 18th, 2022,  I underwent several surgeries, numerous tests, chemotherapy and the BIG surgery.... The Whipple. By the grace of God, I am cancer free and I'm a survivor. 

This was such a difficult time. Difficult watching my family have to go through all this with me. It was so hard. It was difficult enough walking through it as the patient, but even more heartbreaking to watch my children, my husband, my grandchildren, my parents, my siblings deal with it also.

4 months prior to my diagnosis, my wonderful boss Dr. Pack, lost his battle with the same disease. He also lost both of his parents to the this horrible disease. 

So, for all who are just getting the diagnosis, for those who lost the battle to it and for those who survived it.... let's do this together. Let's raise money to help fight Pancreatic Cancer.
