Larry Venturini died of pancreatic cancer on April 19, 2024. Please honor Larry's memory by walking with me or consider donating to PanCAN. 

I’m taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Mark and Annie are joining me with many of you who walked last year. Let's hope the day is as beautiful as last year!

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

There are two ways for you to help:

1)Donate $: Please do not feel compelled to donate but if you want to, a gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis. You can support any team member walking for Team Larry V.

2)Walk on April 26th: Join me by registering for PurpleStride! Register for free, raise $50 and you’ll receive an official PanCAN PurpleStride 2025 T-shirt! You can join me in San Francisco at Crissy Field in the Marina or join a local PurpleStride walk in your area. 

Let’s show everyone impacted by pancreatic cancer that we’re fighting for them.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
