Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser!

I am very blessed to even be able to make this request after my Pancreatic Cancer diagnosis a year ago. If you've been following my journey, you know that God has been so faithful with my extremely early diagnosis and that I'm doing great, but the five year survival rate for pancreatic cancer is just a mere 13%. My medical  team and I are very optimistic that God will continue to allow me to beat those horrible odds. 

As you can imagine, this is very personal to me - I want to make a positive impact on the lives of other pancreatic cancer patients – and I need you to do it!  This event was recommended to me by my Whipple surgeon at Johns Hopkins, so you know it's doing good work for PanCan patients.

I’m taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Think Susan G Komen, but just a few hours on a paved course! It's much more my style!

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set a fundraising goal and need your donations! A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
