Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser!

I was diagnosed in November 2023 with stage one pancreatic cancer. I completed 10 rounds of chemo, 15 rounds of radiation, and attempted the Whipple surgery in June 2023.  The surgery was unsuccessful to remove the tumor.  Current plans are to monitor every 2-3 months to watch for any growth or spread.  If that occurs, more chemo treatment will be needed.

I’m taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Como Park.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

I have joined this fundraising event to bring awareness to pancreatic cancer. A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
