On August 15th, 2023, my Mom was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma of the pancreas with metastasized to her liver. I watched the doctor put the biopsy confirmation on my Mom's Bible in the hospital. My Dad and I started crying but my Mom looked at that paper and I saw the determination to fight this in her eyes with no tears from her.

When you ask Google "why is there no screening for pancreatic cancer" the first thing that shows up from the American Cancer Society is "none of the available tests have proven to actually lower the risk of dying from the disease."

The majority of people (more than 80%) who are diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer do not know until it is too late and has spread and cannot be resected. 

This is the company that is trying to change that. We need screenings. We need to know who is at higher risk for this disease. People's lives are being cut short and if there was a screening in place for a chance to catch the disease early, it would extend the lives of these people! More time with their family and friends!

There are medical advances everyday. After watching my son battle Leukemia at St. Jude for nearly 3 years and now watching my Mom with her own battle, something has change.
