Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!

As many of you know my Mom was diagnosed with Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma in August, 2023. It was a very unexpected diagnosis that came as a complete shock to all of us and was found incidentally during some routine scans to check for kidney stones. After all the biopsies and testing, she underwent a distal pancreatectomy and splenectomy in October. November 7, she started her chemotherapy journey receiving one of the most rigorous chemo regimens available with treatment every other week. She’s in the home stretch and only has 2 treatments left before she starts radiation to minimize the chance of local recurrence. She is the strongest person I know and has been fighting it like a champ. Looking forward to celebrating this summer as she finishes treatments.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
