Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser!

I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I need you to do it!

 As many of you are aware in May 2023 I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  After a successful Whipple surgery to remove the tumor and re-work my entire biliary tract, 6 months of heavy dose chemo therapy, and 29 radiation sessions I am currently cancer free.  God willing I will remain free of this insidious disease.  Strides have been made in fighting this disease but currently the 5 year survival rate is still a meager 13%.  That being said I am asking for your support so continued progress can be made to support those afflicted and possibly put an end to this disease. Please join me on this walk or donate if you can as we stride for continued progress in this battle.

I’m taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
