Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser!

As many of you know Annie and I lost our mother, Katherine Shu, to pancreatic cancer in August 2023 so the family is taking a walk and steps to end pancreatic cancer on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Too often a pancreatic cancer diagnosis is too late and I want to change that one step at a time.

Every dollar you give funds life-changing programs and services for patients and their families.  For my mom she got a grant for prescription medication that could have cost her thousands of dollars. Because of you, patients and families receive essential services, resources, information, and support when they are uregently seeking help and hope. They need you now more than ever.  

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal and need your donations! If I can get 150 people to donate $20 (which is less than lunch) then I'll hit my goal. A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 27, 2024, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
