Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser.

My mom, Terry, was diagnosed in January of 2020 with pancreatic cancer and bravely endured treatment for a little over two years until we had to say goodbye March 13, 2022. 

I am still trying to figure out life without her, she was my biggest support system and one of my absolute favorite people in the whole world. 

This walk and fundraiser is one small step in honoring her memory and trying to make some meaning of her death.  

Resources and research this walk will fund will help families like mine who have to hear this devastating diagnosis, and hopefully prevent others from experiencing it.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
