Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser!

As you probably know my husband Mark was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer July 1, 2024 and was determined to kick its butt.  He went through many procedures and chemo treatments but in late February of this year his body couldn’t take anymore.  Mark didn’t lose his fight or battle because he still had a lot of will, fight and positivity in him but his body was not on the same page.  I am walking to raise awareness and money for early detection, better treatments and support for those going through this same journey.  I dream of a world with no cancer or an easy cure. 

My company has created a team in memory of Mark called Miles for Mark and we would love to have as many sign up to walk that day as possible!  

I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I would love your help to do it!

I’m taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal and need your donations! A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN’s biggest community event of the year, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
