Thank you for supporting my PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser!  You're probably wondering how I got here:

May of 2024 I took a trip to the hospital after experiencing excruciating stomach pain, and in an unexpected turn of events, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I am incredibly grateful that my wife insisted we visit the ER, leaping into action to utilize her professional knowledge and network to navigate our complex healthcare system and tenaciously advocate so that doctors were able to catch it early enough to make treatment possible. In July of 2024 I had a distal pancreatectomy, and I just finished 12 weeks of chemotherapy on February 20, 2025.​
 I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I need you to do it!

I’m taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal and need your donations! A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
