Emma and I will participate in the PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser to honor Marvin Epstein:  The Man, The Myth, The Marv - our Dad & Poppi who left us way too soon.

Dad only made it 9 weeks from the time he was diagnosed to the time he passed. While a fighter on the playground (as a kid) and as a lawyer for 30 years, even his grit, stubbornness, and determination were not enough to fight pancreatic cancer. It took him lightning fast.

While we can't bring him back, we want to help make the most significant impact we can on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients in the hope that they get more time and better outcomes.

Emma and I are taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients, free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services, and more.

As Dad would say, "Go big or go home." We're going big and setting an ambitious goal. We need your donations! A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
