Grandpa Alan's All Stars!

Thank you for joining our family as we remember our beloved father, grandfather and friend to many - Alan Hais, and support the PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser to end pancreatic cancer. 

Dad received the heartbreaking diagnosis of stage three pancreatic cancer in February 2024. He fought aggressively, but the chemotherapy lead to a stroke, which was ultimately more than he could overcome. Dad's battle was valiant but short, ending barely three months later on April 22. 

As devastating as his story is, it is not uncommon with pancreatic cancer - a complex cancer in both its diagnosis and treatment. 

Join our family as we walk for Alan, raising funds to end pancreatic cancer - PanCAN PurpleStride on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
