I’m walking in honor of my brother, Larry, who passed away from pancreatic cancer on December 13, 2024. Larry faced his diagnosis with strength, courage, and optimism. Now, I’m taking steps in his memory to fight for others still in this battle.

On April 26, 2025, I’ll be participating in PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer. Funds raised support groundbreaking research, free patient services, and new treatment options that bring hope to families like mine.

Larry lived life to the fullest. He inspired everyone with his determination, generosity and heart. I carry that same spirit with me in this fight.

Local action. Nationwide impact. This is PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.

PurpleStride is PanCAN's signature community celebration, raising money to fight pancreatic cancer on all fronts — through research, clinical initiatives, patient services, advocacy and nationwide volunteer support. Learn more.
