Thank you for supporting PanCAN PurpleStride fundraiser!

I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I need you to do it!

PurpleStride Washington, DC is April 26, 2025. Not only can you take strides to support this important event, which is the largest fundraiser for PANCAN. April is also a beautiful time to visit Washington, DC. Donations of any size are welcome! If you cannot join us in person, I would be grate for any donation and your support in spirit. PurpleStride is the biggest fundraiser for PANCAN which offers a wide range of support for patients, survivors, and caretakers for those diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. There is no early screening for Pancreatic Cancer and the research PANCAN supports is critical to helping to create screening methods and the five year survival rate. 

One of the most impressive services PANCAN offers, in my opinion, is the personal connections - connecting newly diagnosed and patients with survivors or current patients to share their experiences. PANCAN also has case managers helping connect patients with services in their area and connecting patients with PANCAN resources to help them understand their diagnosis, scans, and treatment options. As I shared above, PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Now, here is where I ask for your support! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal, that I would love to exceed and need your donations! A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

This cause is incredibly important to me and I would be immensely grateful for your support. I am not sure if I will be able to walk 5K (due to my hip healing journey) by that time but I will be there to support you if you are able to join the walk.
