I want to make the biggest impact on the lives of pancreatic cancer patients – and I need you to do it!

I’m taking steps at the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

Here’s where you come in! I’ve set an ambitious fundraising goal and need your donations! A gift of any size will help patients and families facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

So on October 18th, 2024 I underwent a Splenectomy & Pancreatectomy. They removed my Spleen completely and the Tumors and 3/4 of my Pancreas.
I have to take shots every 6 months because I have no Spleen to protect me from Flu’s, COVID, etc. This will be for rest of my life.
My Oncologists says all cancer is gone. She found another Tumor while doing surgery and took it out also. 
I do MRI’s every 4 months to make sure it has not come back. I just had an MRI March 10th, so I meet with my Cancer Surgeon Monday the 24th. Hoping all is good. MRI results are stable, 1 medium Cyst. It is small. So I get to go 6 months till next MRI. Good report today from my Surgeon. Each day I am getting stronger and my energy is coming back. Feeling better each day!
I have lost 37# at present. I am now walking on average 6950 steps a day.I am going to start my countdown to the walk on March 1st. I have 32 days till I walk for Pancreatic Cancer Survivors, Caregivers, Researchers. 
I am building myself up for the Pancreas Cancer Walk on April 26 in Scottsdale, Arizona .

I want to Thank You for all of you helping me reach a goal of helping people going thru this in their lives and to help people less fortunate to get the help they might need at a tough time in their lives. I am asking for any donations to help me raise those funds in my walk for Pancreatic Cancer. Count down has begun for me. So any Donation any amount will help me and so many others! On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
