Pancreatic cancer has changed our lives in ways I never could have imagined. My husband, Tanner, is the most incredible person I know—brilliant, kind, compassionate, and endlessly curious. He has dedicated his life to making the world a better place and inspiring others with his wisdom, integrity, and warmth. He is the kind of person who sparks ideas, lifts people up, and makes everyone around him feel valued. He is my best friend, my greatest love, and the heart of our family.

Tanner deserves more time. More time to keep changing the world in the way only he can. More time to share his light, his laughter, and his boundless love with those who are lucky enough to know him. But pancreatic cancer threatens to take that time away. That’s why I’m walking—because I refuse to accept that this disease gets to write the ending of his story.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, I will be walking in PanCAN PurpleStride Minnesota, not just for Tanner but for every person and family affected by this devastating disease. Every step I take is a stand against pancreatic cancer. Every dollar raised brings us closer to better treatments, earlier detection, and, ultimately, a cure.
