Welcome to my PanCAN PurpleStride Personal Fundraising Page!



I’m taking steps at PanCAN PurpleStride, the ultimate walk to end pancreatic cancer, on Saturday, April 26, 2025. The walk will begin at 9:30 am, ending by noon. I will likely only walk a mile, being in recovery from an ankle surgery.  Andrea Alhadeff will be performing “One Step Closer”, the song she wrote for me during the time I had pancreatic cancer.

If you cannot join me, please consider a contribution.

This day will be an uplifting day that brings together survivors, caregivers, families, researchers, healthcare professionals and more to raise money and awareness for pancreatic cancer.

This cause is deeply important to me. Pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the U.S., and will be the 2nd leading cancer-related death by 2030. Research to find effective treatment options has been historically underfunded and in the current environment the struggle will be greater.

Having recently been released from CT Scans, after 8 years of rechecking  for pancreatic cancer to reappear, I am celebrating this momentous accomplishment!

That’s why I’m participating in PurpleStride – my fundraising helps people with pancreatic cancer receive free, personalized support, resources and information through PanCAN Patient Services.
