Welcome to My Personal Page

For those of you who know me, you know that I have been battling cancer since 2014, when I was diagnosed with BRCA2+ breast cancer.  At that time, I had radiation, chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, a complete hysterectomy, and multiple rounds of reconstructive surgeries.  As of today, I am still breast cancer free.

In 2020, I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and again underwent chemotherapy as well as a partial pancreatectomy and a complete splenectomy.  By grace, I am a pancreatic cancer survivor - a virtual unicorn.

Last year, I was diagnosed with Blastoid B Mantle Cell Lymphoma. I have again had chemotherapy, as well as radiation therapy, CAR-T therapy, and am now on a new oral therapy.  As of this date, I am still battling this cancer.  

As cancer is such a huge part of my life, I’m participating in PanCAN PurpleStride, on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

PurpleStride participants raise money to fund vital research that can bring new treatment options to patients; free, personalized, one-to-one support through PanCAN Patient Services; and more.

I’ve set a fundraising goal and would greatly appreciate anything you might be compelled to donate. A gift of any size will help patients and families like mine facing a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at nearly 60 events across the country, pancreatic cancer survivors, families, caregivers, researchers and supporters will join together and walk to honor everyone affected by the disease.
