We walk to honor our mom and all of the other mom's out there!
Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
Our mom, Linda, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a few months ago. Super strong - she is already a 19-year cancer survivor beating Lymphoma. She KNEW there was something wrong for a year and couldn't get doctors to agree to a scan to show the underlying issue.
Why do we walk?
-To raise awareness of the symptoms, that include increased blood sugar
-To increase the willingness of doctors to agree to early detection lab tests and scans that allow for early prognosis and treatment
-To find better and more effective treatments that will lead to an end pancreatic cancer
-To honor and support our mom.
