Wage Hope at PurpleStride. The walk to end pancreatic cancer.
Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
I lost my hero on June 6th. My beautiful Mom, Jean. My Dad lost his wife. My kids lost their Grandma. I hate this cancer and what it has done to my family. Less than a year prior, I lost my friend Richard. I hate what this cancer has done to my friends.
Watching my mom suffer and seeing her go from being strong and active to sitting by her side as she took her last breath because her body just couldn’t fight any longer is a devastating experience I cannot put into words.
I have learned so much through this experience. I have learned of others who have lost loved ones to this disease. I have met new friends that are fighting and I stand alongside them. I have learned that life can change in an instant. I have learned that I will do anything in my power to fight this disease and build awareness.
I will do anything I can to help. I hope you will join me in fighting this fight. Your donations and support mean the world to me.
I know there are a million causes to which you could donate your hard earned money. If you choose this one you can be assured it is going to a great cause.
