As some of you know, my dad, (Gerry), passed away very abruptly in April of 2018 from pancreatic cancer. Since then, I've been trying to think of ways to do something for him - which has been kind of hard since the only "direction" I got was that he wanted his ashes dumped on the side of the NJ Turnpike. Since I did not do that, I thought instead, maybe he would like the idea of everyone getting together and doing potentially fun, not too serious, and could help others at the same time.
Please consider joining my team. If you can't join the walk itself, please consider donating to help fund pancreatic cancer research.
Or - skip the walk and advance directly to bar - because that's what he would've done.
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%.
Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
