My father was diagnosed with stage IV Pancreatic cancer towards the end of October 2018. He fought for 7 hard months, He was the weakest in health but the strongest among us all. He made us all laugh and he gave us all strength even when he knew he had a few days left to live. We signed up for the 2019 Pancreatic Cancer Walk, my father was excited because he knew our family would be there accompanying us for such a great cause, but unfortunately my father passed on April 11,2019, 2 days before the walk. as distraught as our family was with his passing we wanted to continue and do the walk in his honor and continue walking every year.
I want to make sure we bring awareness to all and make sure every survivor has a better quality of life.
Pancreatic Cancer doesn’t only effect those diagnosed but also the loved ones of those who are fighting the battle!
Every and each one of those fighters and survivors deserve better! Don’t ever give up and keep fighting, We WILL find a CURE!
