Please join me in HONORING my sister, LaRhonda Hobley, who sadly lost her aggressive fight against Pancreatic Cancer when she passed away last month (December 8, 2019). LaRhonda fought a courageous battle for 1 1/2 years. One of her most memorable moments as a fighter of this vicious disease was attending last year's PurpleStride Tampa Bay and being honored as a survivor. She proudly took the stage as a victor, vowing and encouraging others to never give up in the battle against Pancreatic Cancer. I am dedicating the rest of my life to taking up the fight where LaRhonda left off. Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival of all major cancers, at just 9%. As is the case with my sister, LaRhonda, this deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
Join us and become a part of LaRhonda's Legion, a team stepping up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. If you're unable to participate in PurpleStride Tampa Bay 2020, will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
