Wage Hope at PurpleStride. The walk to end pancreatic cancer.
Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
In October 2019, our Nana, Joanne, was diagnosed with pancreatic ampullary cancer. We are blessed with the medical resources we have available because without them we would have never of caught it. Our nana underwent surgery in Columbia Presbyterian in NYC and we are forever grateful for her specialist and the care she has been getting while there.
We have said since day 1, that if anyone can beat cancer, it is our nana. She is strong, brave, powerful and full of faith. This walk is more than just a walk. The pancreatic cancer survival rate is only 9%. Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers.
This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
