The Kimberley Crusaders team is named after Kimberley Lane, the street where both Chris Holder and Hal Hecht raised their families. Our families have been close friends for over 30 years, and we never would have imagined that both dads would one day face the terrible diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. We lost these two wonderful men far too soon to pancreatic cancer, and we STRIDE in their memories and in honor of those currently facing this devastating cancer.
Since the Hecht and Holder families joined hands as Kimberley Crusaders in 2014, the five-year survival rate for pancreatic cancer has increased by four percentage points and is now 10%. Thank you to all of our family and friends who have donated in memory of Chris Holder and Hal Hecht and in honor of your own loved ones. Your support and generosity have contributed to this incredible progress. Please help us continue this momentum and WAGE HOPE against pancreatic cancer by making a donation to our team in support of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
