Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer

We created the Lori Peterson Cancer Foundation in honor of Lori Lynn Peterson, who passed away from pancreatic cancer in September 2018 at the age of 57.  Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 10%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.

Our family has stepped up to Wage Hope at this year's PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Due to the current coronavirus safety measures, this year we will be walking virtually to raise awareness and to raise funds to honor Lori and to continue to support research and services for pancreatic cancer patients.

Want to join us in the Virtual PurpleStride event on Saturday, April 4th? Here's how:

1) Join team Lori Peterson Cancer Foundation via this page. Any donation you make will support pancreatic cancer research.

2) Grab your purple gear and take a walk, ride a bike, walk the dog, etc. (practicing appropriate social distancing) on Saturday, April 4th.  Have fun, creativity is encouraged!

3) Post photos, video, FB or Instagram Live posts on your social media pages on Saturday, April 4th using these hashtags and tag us: #virtualPSPHX2020, #LPCF, #WageHope, #DemandBetter, #PurpleStride, #PANCAN.

4) Email your photos to jennifer@loripetersoncancerfoundation.org. We would love to share your photos via our social media channels and on our website.

Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival.

Thank you, as always, for your support!

Be Well,

Lori Peterson Cancer Foundation
