Wage Hope at PurpleStride. The walk to end pancreatic cancer.
Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
My last name is the German word for cancer.
With a name like Krebs, I somehow thought I might be immune to this disease.
After being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in July of 2017, I realize I'm not. Nor is anyone.
And now, with a name like Krebs, I believe strongly that I must get personally involved to help find a cure and save lives.
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 10%. That's up one percent from just last year, but it's still too low. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, including several of my friends, but it can’t take away our determination.
Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.
