Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 10 percent. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, including my brother Mike. He fought with humor, strength and optimism to beat this disease. On February 12, he passed away peacefully in his sleep, just 15 months post diagnosis.
Mike was just 60 years old; he was a son, nephew, brother, uncle, husband and father. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, his parents, his aunt, seven brothers and sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and -nephews.
Our team is stepping up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today as we remember Mike.
