Wage Hope at PurpleStride. The walk to end pancreatic cancer.
Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
In July 2019, I was diagnosed with Stage 2A Pancreatic Cancer, my life would never be the same or so I thought. After coming to terms with the fact that I had cancer, I was going to do anything and everything I could to put this disease behind me. Since then, I have never looked back. In the blink of an eye, I found myself in the hospital recovering from the Whipple, and then going through months of chemo and now radiation. I have the most fabulous group of family and friends who are there for me every minute of everyday. I am humbled by the outpouring of love I have received from all. This is not a fight one should do alone and I am so very grateful that I don't have to. I am asking all of you to join me on Saturday, June 13 for the PurpleStride Walk to End Pancreatic Cancer at Freedom Plaza.
Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 10%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
I’ve stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help me rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you give ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join me in the fight today.
