Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer

My husband Bert was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on Christmas Eve. Receiving this news was, and still is, devastating. We turned to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in our most desperate of times and they were there to support us, provide information and advise us of resources available.

Bert is fighting with strength and dignity in order to beat the odds. We live our lives one day at a time and full of hope. It has not been easy but he has amazed me with his perseverance.

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. Last year pancreatic cancer became the third leading cause of cancer related deaths in US. There is no test available for early detection as there are for many other cancers.

I’ve stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help me rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?

Every dollar that you give ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients.

Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join me in the fight today.
