Wage Hope at PurpleStride. The walk to end pancreatic cancer.
Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
The Dream Yoga community lost two dear souls to pancreatic cancer recently - Bill Gaal (husband and father of Dream Co-Owners Luann and Lauren Fulbright) in March: and student Ann-Cecile McDermott (wife of student Ed) in April. We are walking/running in their memory to help raise money and awareness for pancreatic cancer.
Many people don't know that pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the U.S, and it has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.
Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today. You can simply donate to Team Mustache and/or to our Team Members' Fundraiser. You can also Join Our Team by establishing your own fundraiser, and come walk with us at Freedom Plaza on Saturday, June 8!
Whatever you can do to support our efforts to raise funds for education and research, know that we are most grateful!
In love and light, Rhonda, Luann, Lauren, Dave & Ed
