Join us to fight for Brett's memory and his kids' future.
Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer
Let's make this a tradition: join me for the second annual Team Brett PanCan 5k and celebration.
Last year we came together soon after Brett died and raised over $30,000 for pancreatic cancer research. This year, I am aiming to raise $50,000 - but more importantly, I want to make sure there's an annual event where Brett's friends and family can come together, spend time with his kids, and share in our loss and our joy at having Brett in our lives.
Both Brett and his father died from pancreatic cancer and we are determined that no one else in our family will suffer that same fate.
When Brett was diagnosed in 2016 we were told that aside from surgery, there were no good options. In the following months we witnessed how quickly the landscape was changing and research was progressing. Unfortunately, it didn't move fast enough for us, but I believe that big breakthroughs are coming soon, and that my kids will grow up in a world with more hope for treatment.
Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?
Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.
Please join us this June. It's so important, and a chance for us to build an annual celebration for my husband.
