Wage Hope to end pancreatic cancer

It is hard to believe, but this is our sixth Purple Stride.  That means it has been over six years since Art--our husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend and colleague--was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  Although we lost Art in November 2016, we will continue to do everything we can to carry on the fight against this terrible disease. This year, just like every other year, his indomitable spirit guides and inspires us.

Art battled pancreatic cancer with courage, hope, and humor.  He saw Ben graduate from law school and become a dad (making him a grandfather), and Zach marry and graduate from law school.  He celebrated three birthdays (including the big 65) with dancing.  He cheered the Nationals at three opening days with his brother, Rich.  He continued his active law practice and pursued his passions--chess, stamp and record collecting, politics, history, rooting for the Yankees and the Michigan Wolverines, and managing a fantasy baseball team, to name a few--and spending time on the Chesapeake Bay and boating.  Above all else, he always kept us laughing.

We miss him every day and look forward to walking in his honor in June!
