Goal: $12,500

Welcome to our team fundraising page!

Almost 6 years ago, my aunt, Julie Deshotels Jardell, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all major cancers, at just 9%.  She fought against the awful disease for 2 1/2 years, and entered eternal life on June 9, 2017.  She was 37 years old. This deadly disease has stolen our best and our brightest, but it can’t take away our determination.

To the medical community she is now a statistic.  To her family, friends and supporters the void that is left can never be filled.  She was more than my Aunt, she was my best friend. She was a wonderful mother to Jules and Amelie, and a great wife to Uncle Remy. The picture above is us celebrating Christmas in City Park.

I want to join the fight against Pancreatic Cancer in honor of Aunt Julie, so that through research new treatments can be found and no one will have to go through what she did.

Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Please join me in this fight by becoming a member of Team Julie for the PurpleStride, or by giving a donation to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.  Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?

Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.

Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join us in the fight today.

Thank You,

Anne Marie Deshotels
