Raised: $700

Goal: $7,500

Welcome to our team fundraising page!

On November 28, 2018, I was diagnosed with kidney stones and thru imaging they also found a tumor on my pancreas. I was shocked to learn I likely had Pancreatic Cancer. A few days before Christmas, on December 18, we received biopsy results that the tumor was likely cancerous, but they couldn't tell for sure. January 18, I completed surgical removal of the tumor, about half of my pancreas, my spleen and gall bladder.

Today I am cancer free!!!!

Pancreatic cancer kills more Americans than breast cancer and has a five-year survival rate of just 9 percent. The five-year survival rate has increased three percentage points since 2014. Those three percentage points represent approximately 1,700 mothers, daughters, fathers, sons, husbands, wives, sisters, brothers, colleagues and friends.

Our team has stepped up to Wage Hope at PurpleStride, the walk to end pancreatic cancer. Will you help us rewrite the future of this disease by making a donation today?

Every dollar that you donate ensures that the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network can continue working to create better outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients and their families. By donating to our team, you are supporting vital efforts to double pancreatic cancer survival by 2020.

Purple ribbons aren’t enough. Please join Team Meg in the fight today.
