Welcome to our team fundraising page!

This is the 10th consecutive year that Team Momma Miller will be striding in Kansas City!  Our team was formed in 2012 and we have been returning year after year to wage hope and awareness in the fight against pancreatic cancer. Team Momma Miller is named for my beautiful mother, Rita, who lost her short battle on April 4, 2012. Every year we join together with thousands of others on what always seems to be a perfect spring day to honor Rita's memory, along with so many others who have lost their own battle or who are currently fighting one.

Your contribution to this team, whether you walk alongside us or donate financially, will make an incredible impact to the fight against pancreatic cancer. Recently the 5-year survival rate hit double-digits at 10% and that is in large part due to the support received at PurpleStrides across the nation! Please consider waging hope with us on May 1, 2021 to keep the fight going!

Note: This PurpleStride event will be done virtually due to the ongoing fight against COVID-19. No matter where you are, you can join us by walking or running a 5k the morning of May 1, 2021!  As the day gets closer, there may be an opportunity for our team to still meet up in person and stride together (for all who are willing and able to).
