My father, Dr. James E. Zellmer, fought pancreatic cancer for 18 months, from October 2019 to April 2021. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend who never gave up hope. He inspired many with his strength and courage in his fight against this terrible disease. He was always on the go, never missing a day on the golf course nor a Green Bay Packers game. I’m honored to call him my father and will forever cherish the memories we had with one another. 

I started this team to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer, so that other families do not have to experience the loss of a loved one. Our team is participating in PanCAN’s PurpleStride, a year-round national movement that funds lifechanging programs and services for pancreatic cancer patients and their families.
